I've meet this on a workstation that never left the desk let alone the building.
You demand to remove the user profile from the DC and re add together it. At that place may be another way to resolve this upshot but that's the one that worked for me. You may have to move some user files around after.... I don't recollect if that was the case or not. Give it a attempt.

I've had the same issue before, in my experience it is the old rename profile folder prepare that usually works the fastest.
When I had it for a user before the cause was a corrupt NTUSER.DAT file within their user folder.
I'd rename the users folder and delete the NTUSER.DAT file from the corrupt profile, login, which volition create the new folder and so copy all contents from the old profile to the new one.

Perhaps someone added something to the profile path in the profile tab of the users AD account in Advert. if that is the case the domain believes you lot are trying to redirect the users profile on the workstation. So it can't find the path and uses the temporary profile on the computer instead.
Disallowment that Gabrielle fabricated a proffer that will work if the users AD account has not been modified every bit mentioned above.

Copy the everything from the user folder to wink drive. Go to DC, remove account, and re add together. Accept flash drive with user data loaded up on information technology and add it to the new user folder that has been created for the "new business relationship"

Used the proffer from gabrielle.50 to become things back in order. Outset time I had seen this. Surprised information technology does not happen more frequently as some of the users take their laptop with them for several days at a time.
